Archive description (ISDIAH)¶
ISDIAH — International Standard for Describing Institutions with Archival Holdings — describes not the holdings but the archive itself: address, opening hours, conditions of access, history, services.
If the description is set up, the entry About us appears in the navigation.
It is maintained on the admin page under Settings; the admin role is
sufficient.
What it is for¶
The information is aimed at outsiders who want to know where they stand before visiting — when it is open, whether an appointment is necessary, what the archive holds at all. Because ISDIAH is a standard, the information can also be evaluated automatically and passed on to portals.
Relationship to the other standards¶
Anton implements four standards that complement one another:

Optional¶
ISDIAH is not a prerequisite for operation. Without a description, the «About us» entry is simply missing — everything else works unchanged.
